Alvis can also meet your translation needs using tools such as TRADOS, Transit, and TraTool. Databases of example translations (known as “translation memories”) enable automated translation of repetitive sections and terms while ensuring consistency of style and terminology for new sections.

Notes:

1. When Alvis manages the translation memory for your project and uses it to translate associated documents, the “Development of translation memory” step need only be performed once.
2. If you have Alvis manage your translation memory, it is important to notify us of any revisions made to our translations after delivery.
3. If you build and manage the translation memory and supply it in a format that can be used with our translation tools, we can add the new translation to the database and return it to you with the translation.
